We chose the name Aldea because it reflects what we believe about caregiving: it takes a community of dedicated, compassionate people working together to truly care for someone. Our home on Aldea Avenue in Van Nuys embodies that belief every day.
Aldea Senior Living is a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) with just six beds. We made that choice intentionally. In a smaller home, caregivers don't just know residents by name — they know their favorite songs, how they take their coffee, and the stories they love to tell.

Large assisted living facilities often house 50, 100, or even 200 residents. Staff are stretched thin. Residents become room numbers. The care is adequate, but rarely personal.
